Owls of Britain

I did this today because I felt like it, just trying out different styles and it's always fun to draw owls :-)

    These are absolutely lovely studies. The detail is wonderful, and I love how the feathers are rendered.

    Owls make good subjects because they have the combination of really bold facial features but also very intricate feathers, and they are all different shapes, patterns and sizes.
